You can make a booking at Quaker Street Space via our online booking system where you can view our studio availability (updated in real time).
Our podcast studio operates on a hourly basis and the minimum booking session time is one hour.
Our photography studio operates on a hourly basis and the minimum booking session time is two hours.
We can reschedule your booking provided we receive 48 hours notice and will liaise with you to find a new convenient slot. However we do not provide a refund for bookings that are cancelled unless we are notified at least 28 days before the booking.
Please note there will be a £15 rebooking charge for any cancellations that are less than 36 hours (card payment on site at new booking).
As our studio can be booked on a hourly basis, you can choose between the different categories to suit your needs. Regardless of the booking category you select, our engineers will always be on-site to assist and will also clean your audio recordings. Our studio provides the following booking categories:
– Audio Only
– Audio & Video (you can also select video/audio syncing option)
– Audio & Video with Post Production (we edit for you)
– Photography Studio (you can also select additional equipment)
We encourage that you must start your booking within the allocated time slot. If we do not have any bookings directly after your session, our engineers can allow for you to continue recording and finish naturally. If there is a booking directly after, then our engineer will not be able let you go over and will inform you to complete your session on the allocated time.
For all types of bookings where extra time is recorded (over the original booking time) you will be charged £1 per minute (card payment on site after booking). For example if you book for one hour but your recording ends at one hour eleven minutes, we would require a payment of £11 for the additional eleven minutes.
Any delays at the start of your booking due to our engineer will be added at the end of the booking to enable you to record to the hour.
There is paid parking available at RingGo Parking App/Website with the Location Code: 60453. The charge times are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 7:00pm and Sundays 8:30am – 2:00pm.
Our engineer will be on-site 15 mins before your booking begins to help you set up and get comfortable. They will remain on-site until your booking is complete. If you arrive earlier please call our studio number to speak to our engineer.
Unfortunately, we do not allow for our furniture to be re-arranged. However there is a few different lay out options available which the engineer can advise you on.
In respect of our other bookings, we only allow cold food including snacks and refreshments. We also have bottled water available for purchase (speak to engineer).
We have a private washroom where you have ample space to get dressed or freshen up.
Our room is fully air-conditioned which operates on quiet mode (no interference to recordings).
TRANSFER OF FILES
We provide your recording files within 48 – 72 hours which are sent via cloud transfer, but we aim to send them earlier (in most cases). However, we can also complete an instant file transfer after your recording session but please contact us beforehand to arrange.
When you book from our ‘Audio & Video with Post Production’ category we will provide our editing services. Our engineer will discuss your editing brief and understand your requirements at the end your recording.
We will send you a first draft of your recording within 5 working days. Once you have responded, we will send you any amendments within 3 working days.
If your response takes longer than 5 working days, we will send you any amendments within 5 working days of your response.
Please note you have one revision for your edit. Please ensure you provide all the changes in your response to our first draft. Any further changes after you submit your first draft response will be subject to charges.
